Purpose
The VMM is dedicated to the depiction and study of military history in a variety of ways. The VMM is currently an online museum that is dedicated to the depiction and study of US military history from the Revolutionary War to the present, especially how it related to a common history for the US and German communities that called Darmstadt, Germany home since March, 1945. The main US facilities in Darmstadt closed in October, 2008, but the memories of those from both nations live on. Please look through our pages and enjoy the site.

Mission Statement
To preserve the military history of the United States and USAG Darmstadt. In this endeavor the VMM will strive to do its utmost to support the memory of the US soldier and the USAG Darmstadt military community. The VMM will further endeavor to honor the veteran of both the US and Germany that can call Darmstadt home.
